La Ferme de la Foret was founded by three friends in 2020 who set out to make Old World inspired wines sourcing from some of the greatest vineyard sites on the West Coast.

The first vintages of Foret brought the group to Oregon’s burgeoning Columbia River Gorge.
The vineyards of the Gorge are nestled between areas of lush forests and arid desert, which makes for a truly unique wine-growing region that reflects this one-of-a-kind terroir. We believe that great wines start with pristine vineyard sites and meticulous farming practices, which led us to carefully select vineyards that embody the essence of this breathtaking area, ensuring that our grapes are nurtured in the most ideal conditions. In the winery, we take a hands-off approach, allowing the natural beauty of the grapes to shine through and express a true sense of place.
Our winemaking techniques are inspired by the traditions of the Old World, emphasizing minimal intervention and letting the grapes speak for themselves.
